Another of my "Ronin," series, again, after "The Dying Gaul"; originally taken as a still from my half-hour feature, "Ghosts"... Lake Hallstatt as background...(Hallstatt, Austria is the site of an ancient civilization that devolved into mining salt for the Roman Empire, the big, strong Celts, travelling through in small bands on chariots, back and forth on the Silk Route, were favorite targets for the local hill people to kidnap and enslave...Hence the phrase, back to the salt mines..."
